New short film about assisted dying on Independent.co.uk, 08/01/2009

Ember Regis Limited has produced a short film discussing the moral and legal questions around assisted dying.

In the film, Emily Jackson, a leading LSE Law professor, discusses the meaning of death and the moral and legal questions raised by assisted dying in the first of The Independent’s new series of short films.
Emily Jackson would like to see a well considered law that allowed doctors to assist their patients to die, in some circumstances, when they were suffering unbearably.
