The assisted dying debate in Australia

The launch of a series of podcasts by the Australian broadcaster, Andrew Denton, has once again reignited the debate about choice at the end of life in Australia. The podcasts explore “the stories, moral arguments and individuals woven into discussions about why good people are dying bad deaths in Australia – because there is no law to help them.”

Dying with Dignity NSW have responded by sharing their own stories about why Australia needs an assisted dying law. In this video John Grayson gives his frank and open thoughts about the suffering that he faces as a 34 year-old young man living with a terminal brain tumour.
